USER ACCOUNT POLICY
Every industrial engineering student has a user name and a password. You may use the computer lab only with your personal user name and password. You have to learn your user name and temporary password from the department secretary.
Use the IE domain when you log in to the computers. You will be asked to change your password at your first login. Your new password should be at least 8-character-long, different from your last two passwords and contain characters from three of the following four categories: English uppercase characters (A through Z), English lowercase characters (a through z), base 10 digits (0 through 9), non-alphabetic characters (for example: !, $, #, %, *, +, _).
Do not share your user name and password with others. These accounts are used to control the number of pages you have printed from the printer and your quota will be reduced as you print. So, it is important that you keep your login information confidential.
Every undergraduate student has 500 MB, M.S. student has 2 GB and Ph.D. student has 3 GB space on the server. You can reach your home folder from any computer by clicking Y: drive on My Computer.
