1) Internal and external transfer applications made to the Boğaziçi University Department of Industrial Engineering is compiled by the Transfer Advisor and presented to the Acceptance Committee for evaluation, and finalized by the Academic Board of the Department.

2) Transfer quotas and minimum application conditions, suggested by the Acceptance Committee, are made certain by the Academic Board of the Department and announced on the dates given by the academic calender. Applications are made to the Registrar's Office on the dates given on the academic calender.

3) In addition to the minimum conditions determined by the Acceptance Committee, the applications are sought to conform to the relevant regulations.

4) Currently,

a) No transfers are accepted for the second semester. First semester quotas are 2 (undergraduate) + 1 (School of Applied Disciplines) for internal transfers and 3 (undergraduate) + 0 (SAD) for external transfers.
b) Minimum application condition for GPA for internal transfers is 3,25/ 4,00 (3,80/ 4,00 for SAD) and 3,35/ 4,00 (or 80/ 100) for external transfers.
c) In order for the applications to be processed, the applicant must have an OYS score which is enough to be approved by some department of Bogazici University which takes quantitative scores into consideration or must be in top 1% of the test (SAT Quantitative, SAT IC-IIC-Mathematics).

5) The quota and minimum application conditions given in Article (4) are subject to change by the Acceptance Committee after being approved by the Academic Board of the Department.
